Making homemade dog biscuits is as simple as baking cookies, and they're a healthy and inexpensive alternative to commercially prepared biscuits. While applesauce is a tasty and healthy additive to your dog's favorite treat, it can also be easily substituted for some or all of the oil in the recipe.
Homemade Peanut Butter Applesauce Dog Treats. 1 1 1/2 cups Flour (not as nutritional as whole wheat, but I use all-purpose) 2 1 cup Oatmeal. 3 1/2 cup All-Natural Peanut Butter (you can use regular but be sure there is NO Xylitol!) 4 3/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce. 5 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder. 6 1/4 cup Olive Oil.
