4. Set the tray or basket in the air fryer, and set the temperature to 400 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, check on the salmon. It's effortless to overcook salmon, so as soon as it is flaky, remove it. I added another 2 minutes.
