Heavy cream or unsweetened coconut or almond milk. Optional to balance out the low carb sweeteners so no aftertaste occurs, I highly recommend adding the optional vanilla liquid stevia. Add all ingredients into a stand mixer and blend on high until smooth. Continue to add additional cream for desired consistency.
I use my favorite homemade forever vanilla, but you can use store bought vanilla if that is what you have. Instead of milk, like a traditional buttercream frosting recipe, this sugar free buttercream frosting uses heavy cream. You will also need one of the most important parts of a buttercream frosting recipe. The butter!
