2. In a grinder jar, add the soaked dal, rice and kala chana and grind to a thick paste. The batter for vada is ready, transfer it in a large bowl and add in the chopped green chillies and chopped coriander leaves along with salt as per taste.
3. The consistency of the dal paste would be much thicker, so add a little water to make a smooth batter. On the other hand, put a deep-bottomed kadhai on medium flame and heat oil in it.
4. Now, take some batter in your hand and make a circular shaped vada. Repeat the procedure to make more such vadas. Flatten the vadas slightly with your hands and make a hole in the middle.
