1. In a bowl, combine powdered glutinous rice, coconut milk, young coconut strips, and sugar. If the mixture is not that sticky add more powdered glutinous rice.
2. Add 1/2 cup of mixture in the center of the banana leaf and wrap it by rolling and fold the edges to avoid dripping. The size of the output should be 1 inch wide and 6 inches long.
3. Do the same procedure with the remaining mixture.
4. Light up the charcoal in a griller, and put the wrapped tupig mixture on the griller, but make sure that ember is already present on the charcoal before you start grilling.
