WebI really liked this recipe. I did make a few changes. I used groub=nbd turkey. AS i am on a low-carb diet i used minced cremini mushrooms as my rice substitute (Delicious!) I should have cut the broth in half as I didnt use rice (next time). Also cheddar cheese did not appeal top me. I found Swiss & Gruyere shredded cheese at Aldis - FANTASTIC!

WebOriginal recipe called for 1 scotch bonnet or habanero pepper, finely chopped. I've simplified it by using cayenne pepper for spiciness - I honestly can't tell the difference (I've tried both ways). Also, the original recipe did not call for canned tomatoes. Some Trinidad Chana Aloo Curry recipes do. I added it to create a slightly thicker sauce.
