1. Marinate the Surmai slices with salt, turmeric and lemon juice and set aside for 10 minutes
2. Make a fine but thick paste of red chillies, peppercorns, coriander seeds, curry leaves and salt.
3. Apply this paste on the fish slices and allow to marinate for 20 to 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
4. Now heat 3 to 4 tbsp oil in a Tawa and fry the fish on both the sides till done.
