You can keep it really simple if you want like we did with our Instant Pot frozen salmon recipe. Olive oil, butter, dill and salt is all we really used and it was great. Fennel, tarragon, parsley, and/or basil are great choices too. BUT if you want bold flavors, use our dry rub recipe here!
Add a few slices of smoked salmon and crack an egg in the avocado. Add fresh herbs, such as dill. Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 375F for 10 minutes, or until the egg is set to your liking. Make this: Layer smoked salmon, avocado, and your favorite poke bowl ingredients, such as sliced radishes, cucumbers, cabbage.
Arrange 2 to 3 salmon fillets on top; cover with some of the brown sugar mixture. Repeat layers until all the salmon fillets are coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight. Preheat a smoker to 195 degrees F (91 degrees C) according to manufacturer's instructions.
