A few reviews mentioned the water that comes out of the zucchini. When I read the recipe, I thought two teaspoons of salt was a lot, especially in an 8x8 pan. I'm wondering if one of the tsp. of salt could be used on the zucchini prior to making the dish so that it releases some of the water. Loved this! Trying to cut carbs but really miss pasta dishes. This was outstanding! Didn't use the onion, added a bit of garlic powder instead, only used ground beef, and some extra mozzarella. Extended the cooking time a bit to try and evaporate the extra water from the zucchini but it was really good. I'd make this healthier version of lasagna again in the future.

I have made this twice, and now I remember why I didn't like the recipe the first time around. The prep time of 20 minutes is WAY understated. Should definitely be increased by ALOT!! Secondly, the 1/4 cup olive oil is way understated as well. I needed a ton more. That said, if you are not too exhausted to eat this when you are done cooking, it is tasty.
