So grab your skewers, a cutting board, and fire up that grill — it’s time for some keto shish kabobs. Grab your wooden skewers, bell peppers, red onion, and chicken or sirloin steak, it’s Mediterranean dinner night with these low-carb shish kabobs. Whip up the BBQ sauce and toss in the chicken, allowing it to marinate.
A shish kabob, sometimes spelled shish kebab, is a dish made up of vegetables and meat that are placed on a skewer and then grilled to perfection. The meats oftentimes consist of lamb, veal, shrimp, or in our case, chicken! You can choose to use either metal skewers or wooden skewers when making a shish kabob recipe.
Lay the keto beef kabobs on to a small baking sheet (see photo in post) and balance them so they are not touching the bottom of the baking sheet. Broil for up to 5- 10 minutes per side, turning at least once and basting with remaining marinade until the meat is cooked. Don't forget to join our Keto Low Carb Facebook Group!
