This jam is shelf-stable for up to a year and you can make it with your favorite low carb sweetener. Wash jars, bands, and lids. Place jam jars in water bath canner filled halfway with water. Bring water to a boil. Turn off the burner and leave jars in canner until ready to use Place lids in water in a small saucepan and heat until water simmers.
Heat over high heat until it comes to a boil. Allow to boil for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat, quickly stir in liquid pectin until it is well incorporated. Keep stirring for 7 minutes to prevent pepper pieces from floating to surface. Pour into glass jars leaving ¼ inch from rims. Allow to cool then put lids on the jars.
Red Pepper Jelly is one of my favorite ways to preserve extra peppers all year long and this recipe includes no white sugar! Prepare 6 pint jars. Combine 1/2 teaspoon of calcium powder with 1/2 cup of water. Shake and set aside. You only need 2 teaspoons - put the rest in the refrigerator for another time.
The pepper jam is easy to make and a crowd pleaser Pepper Jam is a great addition to charcuterie boards. This jelly pairs well with goat cheese, brie cheese, and crackers. This jam is also easy to make into small gift jars. This is a great option for hostess gifts, teacher gifts, and neighbor gifts.
