Then, peel and cut them into chunks and put them in salted water in a large pan. Put this pan over high flame and bring it to a boil. Once cooked, turn off the flame and strain the water. Using a masher, mash all the potatoes.
2. Then, put a saucepan over medium flame and heat butter in it. Once the butter is melted, add the chopped garlic in it and saute for a few seconds. Next, add onions in it till translucent and then add chopped thyme. Saute for a minute and then turn off the flame.
3. Now, add the onion-garlic mixture in the mashed potatoes and season with salt and pepper powder. Mix once and then add one egg yolk and using a beater, beat the mixture. You will notice that the potato mixture has become soft and fluffy. Let the mixture cool down.
4. Now, take a little amount of this mixture in your hand and roll into the shape of a cylinder or ball. Once done, make a little space in the shape and stuff it with goat cheese. Close the end and roll once again. Make more such balls or cylinders.
