2. Melt ghee and stir in saffron. Add a tablespoon of this ghee to the same skillet and add rava. Saute the rava for 5 minutes while stirring continuously. Now add desiccated coconut and continue to saute for another 2 minutes, or until rava and coconut turn light golden (not brown)
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine sautéed nuts and rava.
4. Add the remaining melted ghee with saffron (including saffron strands) and combine well, until the mix looks like wet sand.

Add sugar in the same bowl and keep the mixture aside. Now, heat a non-stick pan over medium flame. Add semolina in the pan and roast the rava till it attains a cream colour. Take the pan off the stove.
2. Add ghee to it and then add the grated coconut with sugar on the layer of rava and ghee. Mix the ingredients well. Next, add nutmeg and cardamom powder to it and mix well.
3. Once the rava mixture is ready, start making laddoos by taking the mixture in your palm. Embed dry fruits as you make each laddoo in your palm. You can store these rava laddoos in an air-tight container and consume them as and when you like. They have a longer shelf life so theyll stay good for around 10-12 days straight. Enjoy the laddoos as an evening snack with a hot cup of tea or coffee.
