Mrs. Hanes Hand-Made Moravian Cookies sprang from a family in-home business that Evva Hanes’ mother began to help supplement the family’s income. Hanes took over the business in 1960, followed her mother’s recipes and, with husband Travis, grew the business.
We are a family business comprised of 7th, 8th & 9th generation Moravians & our recipe is a secret family recipe that has been handed down for generations. I don’t think there is another company in the world like my bakery.
