It’s an amazing community of grillers that will help support you and increase your confidence of all things BBQ. My recipe for Memphis Dry Rub is the ultimate rub to provide a balance of sweet and salty flavors to your smoked meats.
Once the oil is on the ribs, season liberally with the Memphis dry rub. Use the palm of your hand to push the rub into the meat gently. Don’t “rub” the meat, or it will pull the seasoning off the meat and make it clump. Once your ribs are cooked and off the smoker, give them another sprinkle of the dry rub to finish them off.

For my Memphis style ribs I like to use my Basic BBQ Dry Rub, My Dry Rub for Pork Ribs , or if smoking these my Dry Rub for Smoked Pork Ribs , but feel free to use your favorite.
This deliciously sweet and savory low carb barbecue dry rub is fantastic on ribs, chicken, steak, or even prawns. Even though it's a beautiful February day here in the Pacific Northwest, I'm already dreaming of barbecue season.
