Servings: 18Cuisine: AmericanCategory: Dessert1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. In a food processor, add dry ingredients and pulse until combined.
2. Add remaining ingredients and pusle until a smooth, stiff dough ball forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours. (This step is optional, they still come out fine without refrigeration, but I thinkn it makes them taste even better since the flavors have time to meld together.)
3. Take a piece of dough and roll into a 1 inch ball and place on a parchment lined baking tray. Space each dough ball about 1.5 inches apart. Flatten each ball down with a spoon. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool on the baking tray for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are maple syrup cookies keto friendly?

If you are not on a keto diet, you can use pure maple syrup. These cookies have a texture similar to shortbread, though they are more delicate. They are firm on the outside and when you bite into one, it will crumble and melt into your mouth.

Can you make peanut butter cookies with maple syrup instead of sugar?

So on a quest to recreate that lovely flavor, I decided to make a peanut butter cookie that was sweetened with pure maple syrup instead of sugar. They turned out magically soft and chewy with pure peanut butter flavor and a hint of maple goodness.

What is the best low carb flour to use for cookies?

I used a few tablespoons of low carb coconut flour to keep the cookies together and they were absolutely perfect in every way. You can easily add chocolate chips to these cookies, or dried fruit.

Are peanut butter cookies keto friendly?

These keto-friendly peanut butter cookies are just 2 ingredients and don’t require any flour or low carb flour alternatives. They come out buttery and melt-in-your-mouth, like shortbread cookies. The cookies are quick and easy to make and are ready in about 15 minutes from start to finish.
