Place in the sausages, cover and simmer for 40 minutes.Step7Add the peas and courgette for the last 5 mins of cooking time.Step8Taste and season with salt and black pepper.Step9Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley. Serve with your choice of sides.Step10EnjoyStep11Brown sausages and onion as per steps 1-4 above.Step12Add to a slow cooker with all other ingredients, apart from peas and zucchiniStep13Cook on low for 6 hours.Step14Add the zucchini and peas in for the last hour of cooking time.Step15Taste and season with salt and black pepper.Step16Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.     1. Add vegetable oil to a skillet or frying pan, and sear the sausages for a few minutes on each side, until they have gently browned. Transfer them to the slow cooker.
    2. Add finely diced onion, grated garlic, and diced carrots, celery, leek and red pepper to the skillet. Saute for a few minutes until the onion is soft. Transfer the vegetables to the slow cooker.
