1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer add the butter and beat until fluffy. Add in the powdered sugar, zest of one lemon and juice of one lemon.
2. In a medium sized bowl combine the flour, salt and baking powder. Slowly add it to the butter mixture and mix until combined .
3. Add the dough to a lightly floured surface and roll out to 1/4 inch thick. Using a round cookie cutter cut out the cookies and lay them onto a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove and let cool.
4. In a small bowl whisk the lemon juice, powdered sugar, and zest of one lemon. Dip the top of each cookie into the glaze and place on a wire rack to set.
