1. Heat oil in a kadai; add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon, red chillies, broken into two, and half the crushed coriander seeds; sauté for half a minute. Add onion and sauté for a while; add ginger paste and garlic paste and sauté for a while longer.
2. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder and tomatoes. Cook over high heat till the oil separates. Add paneer and salt and half a cup of water.
3. Cook, covered, over low heat for five minutes. Serve hot, garnished with the remaining crushed coriander seeds.

2. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, mix and sauté till soft and pulpy.
3. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add 1 cup water, mix and cook on medium heat for 2 minutes.
4. Reduce heat, add yogurt, mix and cook for 1 minute. Adjust salt and mix. Add dried fenugreek powder and mix well.
