2. Combine almond flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
3. Add the cubes of cold butter to the bowl and cut the butter into the flour using a pastry cutter or fork. Combine until the mixture is in gravel-sized pieces.
4. Whisk the egg whites in a separate bowl, then add them to the flour mixture. Stir until fully combined. Don't over stir. Butter chunks will remain.
