3. Add the unsalted butter to the blender and blitz until a crumbly texture forms.
4. Spoon the crumbly mixture into the lined baking tin. With the back of a spoon, smooth the mixture evenly across the bottom of the tin. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.

4. While the base is setting you can make the caramel. Begin by adding 1/4 cup of coconut oil, 1/3 cup of xylitol and 1/2 cup of milk to a medium saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil and allow to bubble for a minute before reducing to a simmer.
