This gin and tonic recipe contains only a dash of lime juice and cucumber slices which complement the taste of Hendricks gin perfectly. Add a few ice cubes in a gin goblet or highball glass. Add a few slices of fresh cucumber to your glass then add one shot of Hendricks gin (40 ml or 4 cl).

Add a few slices of cucumber, a squeeze of lime and the tonic water. You can garnish your glass with one slice of cucumber. We recommend using light Fever-Tree tonic water or Schweppes Indian Tonic Zero. While Hendrick's gin is fantastic, you want a good quality tonic water that elevates the taste of your gin.
Place the sugar and pour 125ml (½ cup) of water in a small saucepan over a low heat. Stir frequently until all the sugar has dissolved and a sugar syrup has formed. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. How sweet you want the elderberry gin to be is up to you.
