2. 2 Combine golden syrup, oil and water in a microwave-proof bowl and stir to combine. Microwave on HIGH for 25–30 seconds. Whisk in baking soda until well combined (it might foam up a little).
3. 3 Add syrup mixture to dry ingredients and mix well. Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture onto baking tray, leaving space between them (they will spread). Flatten with your fingers or a fork.
4. 4 Bake for 10–15 minutes, until golden. Remove to a wire rack to cool.

3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot, and mix until well combined. The mixture should feel wet and sticky but presses together. If it feels a bit dry, add a tiny bit of water to bring them together.
4. With wet hands roll the mixture into approximately golf sized balls and place well apart (they do spread) on a large biscuit tray. Flatten very slightly with the back of a wet fork and bake until golden (approximately 10-20 minutes).
