Any of these varieties or combination of meats will work well as long as they are plain meatballs and aren’t glazed or flavored (buffalo, teriyaki, etc.). We will use pineapple chunks for the Hawaiian Meatballs. I use canned pineapple chunks, however, you could use fresh if you prefer.
The meatballs will cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours in the crock pot and should be cooked until they reach the serving temperature of 165˚F. If you like to mix it up, there are a couple of ways to add some fun new flavors and variations to these Hawaiian Meatballs.
