1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and cook the pasta until it’s al dente. Drain, and set aside.
2. In a medium saucepan or skillet over low to medium heat, add the olive oil and garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds to a minute, then add the ham and frozen peas. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, basil, and thyme. Stir to combine, and continue to cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Taste, and season with salt and pepper if desired. Stir in the cooked noodles.

4. Add the Ham and Peas. Add the ham and peas to the sauce. Bring sauce to a very low simmer, taking care not to boil. Allow sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until peas and ham are heated through. Add the cooked pasta, shredded Parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper, and fresh herbs. Remove from heat and mix well to combine.
