2. In a large pot with the heat off, add the softened cream cheese (this is a must) and the beer. Turn the heat to medium low to start.
3. Use a whisk to break up the block of cream cheese and whisk it into the beer. It looks gross, just go with it.
4. Adjust the heat to medium and continue to whisk down the cream cheese. Small pieces are ok, large chunks are not. Once you see only small pieces you can start adding the cheese.
