Line baking sheets with parchment paper, or coat well with baking spray.

How to make fruit cake with flour?

Instructions Combine fruit and nuts and 1/2 the flour, mix well. Cream the shortening and sugar, add the egg and flavoring. Beat on med. speed with electric mixer until light and creamy. Stir in fruit mixture and remaining flour, baking soda, salt and mix well. Drop onto parchment lined or greased baking sheet and bake at 350F for 10-12 min.

How to make ice cream cookies with fruit and pecans?

Add coated fruit and pecans to the cookie batter, mix well. Use a tablespoon, cookie scoop, or small ice cream scoop to drop rounded spoonfuls of the batter onto prepared baking sheets. What kind of fruit is in a candied cake?

The cake classically contains candied or glacéd fruits including cherries, citrus peel, apricots, figs, dates, plums, raisins, pineapple, etc. Lots of different types of nuts gives this cake an extremely chunky texture.
