Add the mango nectar, white rum, triple sec, lemon juice, mango, and ice into a blender. Pulse the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and no chunks of ice or fruit remain. Taste the daiquiri for sweetens and tartness. Add more mango nectar or lemon juice to suit your taste.
But you can also use mango juice if that’s what you have available (or you really want that drink quickly). This cocktail needs only 4 ingredients – mango, rum, lime juice and ice cubes. While I tend to use freshly squeezed lime juice you can use pre-prepared juice instead.
Place Daiquiri ingredients in the blender in the order listed (ice last, blends better). Whizz until ice is blitzed. Taste test then adjust sour with lime and sweetness with sugar. Pour into glasses - this recipe makes the perfect amount to fill 4 martini glasses. Garnish with strawberries, lime and mint if desired. Serve cold.
A simple furl of mango makes for an effortless garnish here. Of course, fresh slices of mango will also work well as a garnish for this daiquiri. If you’re using pre-cut, frozen mango chunks, a curl of lemon peel will also be a sublime garnish.
