3. Make a well in the center of the flour. Pour in the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir vigorously with a large spoon until combined. The dough will be thick and sticky.
4. Cover the bowl with either a damp cloth or plastic wrap and put it in a warm, draft free place to rise. Let rise for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. The dough will more than double in size.
