Bone broth can help ease digestive issues and some say can help heal the gut. Bone broth contains collagen and gelatin which are thought to be gut-soothing ingredients. Bone broth can strengthen your immune system.
But don't despair because that broth still has all the benefits of bone broth. Add all of the ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for 18 hours minimum and up to 24 hours. Allow to cool. Strain the broth into mason jars using a fat skimmer.
I skipped it for my stew to make it more kid friendly, too. Boil the easy low carb beef stew. Bring the stew to a boil and reduce heat. Cove and let it simmer until the beef is tender. TIP: Simmering beef stew will take a while, at least 45-60 minutes, and it’s not a problem if you let it simmer for longer.
