Girl Scouts of the United States of America and DoorDash announced a new agreement that will allow drivers to deliver Girl Scout Cookies to homes this year. Customers in select areas will be able to exclusively place orders on DoorDash.com or through the DoorDash app for pickup or delivery.
Customers can order cookies through the DoorDash website or app in some locations in January, with expanded delivery beginning in February. Among the other ways you can get cookies are by texting COOKIES to 59618 to receive more information or by using the Girl Scout Cookie Finder to find a booth or purchase cookies for delivery, starting Feb. 18.
You can order online at any time between now and the end of the popular cookie-selling season. The Girl Scouts began selling their cookies on Jan. 11 this year and they're generally available through April -- although it's possible the cookies could sell out in your area before that time.
After success last year with GrubHub, even amid the pandemic, the Girl Scouts of the USA will adapt their selling methods for the 2022 season with on-demand delivery exclusively powered by DoorDash starting in February.
