Directions. Place into a plastic bag, and refrigerate 4 hours to overnight. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cook the turkey wings in the hot oil for 15 minutes, then turn the wings over, and continue cooking until the meat is no longer pink at the bone, 10 to 15 minutes.
Pour the buttermilk all over the turkey, and let brine over night, for 8 hours. Drain the wings, and discard the buttermilk. Rinse the wings under water, then set aside. In a large bowl add the all purpose flour, 1 tbsp poultry seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, and seasoning salt.
Directions. Cook the turkey wings in the hot oil for 15 minutes, then turn the wings over, and continue cooking until the meat is no longer pink at the bone, 10 to 15 minutes.
If you can’t find turkey wings, naturally a chicken wing will also work for this recipe. You just won’t have to cook them as long. If you’d prefer not to fry the wings, you can bake, broil or grill them instead. In fact, grilling would be quite delicious.
