I changed up the recipe a bit and made it with apple juice instead of apple cider and then added all my flavorings; whole cloves, whole cinnamon sticks, loads of citrus and a little bit of brown sugar. This apple cider recipe is so simple to make, you literally just dump everything into the Crock Pot, cover and serve!
