This salt scrub uses mineral-rich Himalayan salt along with coconut oil, almond oil, and essential oils. While you can use only coconut oil for this recipe, I prefer to use a mix of both coconut and almond oil for ease of use.
I whipped coconut oil in my stand mixer on medium for 10 minutes, then stirred in the sugar and essential oils. The whipped coconut oil made the scrub turn out thick and seem more luxurious.
Once you do, you can make this epsom salt body scrub to exfoliate and get a little magnesium sulfate into your system. 1 pint jar (I like to use the squattier gift jars, but a regular wide-mouth is fine, too) 2/3 cup coconut oil, melted if mixing by hand (or use your favorite liquid carrier oil like olive or almond oil for a quick, no fuss version)
