1. Grease a parchment paper lined 15"x10" baking sheet with 2 teaspoons butter.
2. In a large, heavy bottom pot, melt remaining butter over medium heat.
3. Add sugar and water to the butter. Continue cooking over medium heat and stir continuously until a candy thermometer reaches 300 (hard crack stage).
4. Quickly pour onto prepared baking sheet.

1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F.

4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the sweetened condensed milk. Mix well. Spread the toffee mixture evenly over the crackers.
