3. Place a steamer basket inside a large pot and fill with 1-2 inches of water. Place the bowl with your mixture on top of the steamer basket. Cover the pot and boil over high heat to steam for 30 minutes.
4. Remove bowl and mix in coconut oil and sweetener. Let cool slightly. Knead on a plate or countertop until smooth and dough is just a little tacky. Roll into nine small balls and set aside.

The cake may be wobbly when you first take it out of the oven; this is not an indication that the batter isn't cooked like with a traditional cake.
