Chop the cabbage, onion and peppers into small pieces and add to corn. Mix vinegar, sugar, salt and spices and heat to boiling. Add the corn and vegetables and boil for 20-30 minutes, until vegetables become tender (stir frequently). Pour corn relish into sterile jars and seal. This makes about 8 pints. ~ CHOW CHOW
Cover the bowl with aluminum foil, or a lid if you have one. The mixture will now need to sit for 4 to 6 hours, or overnight if possible. I let mine sit on the counter for a couple of hours, and then set the bowl in the refrigerator overnight.
