1. Melt butter over medium-high heat in a large skillet. If you don't have a very large skillet, you will be better off using a Dutch oven. The cabbage takes up a lot of room before it wilts.
2. Add onion and cook until crisp tender, about 3 minutes.
3. Add sausage and cook until it is lightly browned.
4. Add garlic and remaining ingredients. Stir to mix everything well. Cover and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Add neutral oil to large frying pan. Under medium heat, add kielbasa and saute for about 7 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove kielbasa from pan.
3. Add more oil if needed, and add garlic and onions into the pan. Saute onions and garlic until they are translucent and very aromatic. About three minutes. Stir occasionally.
4. Add cabbage into frying pan with onions and garlic. Cook uncovered for about 10-12 minutes, stirring often. If needed, add the cabbage little by little.

1. If you haven't already, slice the sausage, core and chop the cabbage, chop the onion and mince the garlic.
2. Place a deep large skillet or Dutch oven over medium high heat. Pour in half the oil and toss in the sausage. Saute for about 5-6 minutes to render fat and lightly brown the edges of kielbasa slices. Remove the sausage to a bowl, leaving the fat in the pan.
3. Dump the onion and garlic in the pan along with the whole grain mustard, salt and pepper. Saute for about 2 minutes.
4. Add the cabbage a bit at a time, mixing to coat as you do. Once it is all in the pan, reduce heat to medium and cover to cook cabbage. Cook for about 6-7 minutes, stirring a couple times to evenly cook.
