Calories: 69 per servingTotal Time: 55 mins1. Preheat the oven to 325 F. Place ham in a heavy casserole dish flat side down. Then cover the pan with parchment paper and then tin foil. Roll the tin foil up tightly around the edges of the pan to hold in the steam. Bake for about 15 minutes per pound (about 45 minutes to one hour for a 3 pound ham). Add extra time for larger cuts. You can also judge the doneness of the ham by taking an internal temperature. When the ham reaches 130 F in the center it is done.
2. In the meantime, prepare the brown sugar glaze by combining the salted butter and brown sugar sweetener in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer and then a boil. Allow it to boil just long enough for the mixture to emulsify about 1 minute. Turn the heat off and allow to cool and thicken slightly.
3. Remove the ham from the oven and remove the foil. Use a silicone pastry brush to glaze the ham, making sure to coat the inside of the slices as well. Cook for another 10-15 minutes uncovered.
4. Serve immediately!
