Bisquick was handy but it is not keto friendly, I would also say that if you look at the ingredients its not very friendly from those on the Standard American Diet (SAD), but again, its quick and convenient Sarah did some research and came across this Low Carb Bisquick recipe from Maria Emmerich over on her blog KETOadapted.
Bisquick ingredients: enriched flour bleached, partially hydrogenated soybean and/or cottonseed oil, leaving, dextrose, and salt. Harvard scientists studied Trans-Fat (hydrogenated oils) vs. Saturated Fat.
In a seperate bowl, beat the eggs, salt, and pepper together. Then stir in the milk. Add the Bisquick, and whisk until you form a smooth mixture. Pour the Bisquick mixture over the pie plate. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. Check for doneness by poking the center with a toothpick. It if comes out clean, the quiche is done!
