“ Carbohydrates ” are foods with all types of added sugar, plus all grains, fruit, dairy and veggies in your diet. Like beans and peas, legumes are generally considered carbohydrate powerhouses, making them unsuitable for a low-carb or ketogenic diet. However, there are some exceptions and some specific varietes that are lower in carbs. Black soybeans, peanuts, snow peas, and green beans are legumes that are considered low carb.
