1. In a mixing bowl, add your shrimp, cornstarch, garlic powder, black pepper and gently mix. Mix until each shrimp is well coated in the cornstarch seasoning.
2. In another bowl, whisk together your Gochujang Sauce ingredients as listed above until well combined.
3. Then in a non-stick frying pan set over medium high heat, fry your shrimp until they are crispy and golden on both sides, about 10 minutes.
4. Lower your heat to low flame. Then pour your sauce over top and gently combine with the shrimp. Garnish with green onions (optional).

1. In a large saucepan, add in maple syrup, honey, soy sauce, water, ginger, chili paste, peanut butter, garlic powder, sesame oil and corn starch. Whisk together over medium heat and let simmer for 10 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
2. While the sauce is simmering, prepare shrimp. Ensure shrimp are de-shelled, de-veined, rinsed with water and patted dry.
3. Place shrimp in sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes each side, stir occasionally to ensure shrimp cook evenly.
4. Serve over rice and top with green onion and sesame seeds.

3. Add 2 inches of oil to a pot and heat to 360 F. Dredge shrimp in starch (it will have a strange texture, like mud) and fry for about 1.5-2 minutes and remove from oil. Work in batches as to not overcrowd the pot.
4. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a large sauté pan over medium high heat. Add dried chillis and green onion and cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant. Add all remaining vegetables and sauce mixture. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until sauce has reduced significantly.
