This delicious low carb barbecue dry rub is one of the seasoning recipes from my cookbook – Craveable Keto. It is fantastic on ribs, chicken, steak, pork chops, or even prawns. Plus, it’s super quick and easy to whip up and without all the additives and sugar that you would typically find in a store-bought mix.
Place chicken (pork or veggies, too) in a plastic bag or bowl. Sprinkle dry rub over the meat or vegetables and toss until all pieces are evenly covered with dry rub. Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or even overnight if you have to. Cook chicken according to instructions in the FAQ's section below.
And the oil is what makes the dry rub stick. Second, make sure you massage both the oil and the rub into the skin of the wings. If you just sprinkle it on, a lot will fall off when you transfer the wings to the baking rack. I recommend using as much of the dry rub as you can.
