2. Bring whole milk ricotta, softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, eggs, flour, vanilla extract, 1/2 cup melted butter into a large bowl. Mix well and beat on medium high speed (using a hand-held mixture or standing mixture) for 20 minutes.
3. Butter spring foam pan with the other 1/2 tbsp of melted butter and wrap aluminum foil around the pan to prevent leakage.
4. Pour cheesecake mixture into spring foam pan. Bring to oven and bake for 1 hour.

4. Butter a 9 inch spring form cake pan and sprinkle it all over with some of the sugar to lightly coat the bottom and the sides. Spoon the cake mixture in the pan and set the pan on a baking sheet.
