1. Wash and prep all of your apples. My family doesn't like the apple skin, so I peel the apples. If you don't mind the skin, by all means leave it on. Quarter all apples and toss them into the Instant Pot stainless steel bowl.
2. Add butter, cinnamon, honey, lemon juice, sea salt and water into the Instant Pot stainless steel bowl with the apples.
3. Put the Instant Pot lid on and secure it in the locked position.
4. Plug in your Instant Pot. Make sure the vent on top of the lid is in the sealed/closed position.

1. Wash, and peel, the chayote squash. Cut the squash in half and there’s a pit that you’ll want to remove. Then chop the chayote squash into bite size pieces.
2. Heat a skillet to low heat and melt the butter. Add in the squash and sauté for 3 minutes, covered.
3. Add in the Brown Swerve, apple pie spice, apple flavoring and lemon, then continue sautéing for 5 minutes (covered) or until fork tender.
4. While the mixture is still warm, puree using an immersion blender, mini chopper or food processor. Serve either warm over ice cream, pancakes, waffles or all on it’s own. Or you can serve it chilled like traditional applesauce. Personally, I think it's best served warm! Store leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge for several days.
