Remember to budget enough time to make the cannabis coconut oil if you don’t already have some on hand. Cannabis salves are topical applications made from cannabis-infused oils and beeswax. The carrier oils are infused with medicinal properties and then thickened with beeswax. Herbalists often recommend plantain, calendula and comfrey for skin conditions, Arnica chamissonis for muscle aches and Solomon’s seal for ligament and muscle healing.
If you'd like to make a vegan cannabis salve, just substitute cocoa butter or shea butter for the beeswax. This is a great way to use a batch of weed oil that doesn't turn out quite right. Store this cannabis salve in a dark cool place.
