1. Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions.
2. Put the almonds and sweetener in the blender and blend until finely ground. Add the other ingredients and blend until smooth.
3. Spray the waffle iron with cooking spray. Pour about 1/4 of the batter into the waffle iron. If you have a smaller waffle iron you will use less batter. Just pour enough to cover 3/4 of the bottom grill. Cook until golden brown.
4. To make crisper waffles let the waffles cool and then toast in the toaster.
