3. Stir in the cake mix and blend until you have a combined batter. Then you can transfer the batter to the prepared cake pan. If adding chocolate chips simply add them to the batter in the pan without stirring them in.
4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cake appears somewhat set. A toothpick may not come out clean as there is melted chocolate in this. Frost as desired when cooled.
