Love Moscow mules but not the carbs? Try this amazing low-carb and keto version with vodka, lime, and diet ginger beer. From now on, this will be your go-to skinny cocktail recipe. Pour vodka and lime juice into 2 copper mugs; add ice cubes and sugar-free ginger beer; stir to combine.
Pop ice into your copper mug (or your not-so-fancy cup), then strain the liquid from the stirring glass over the top. Fill the rest of your mug (or peasant cup) with diet ginger beer and get ready to be blown away. This low carb Moscow Mule tastes just like the real deal, and it's totally sugar-free.
You don't need a fancy copper Moscow Mule mug, but it certainly doesn't hurt anything. First, chill a stirring glass with ice. Add lime juice and vodka to the glass; stir until the glass is nice and frosted. Pop ice into your copper mug (or your not-so-fancy cup), then strain the liquid from the stirring glass over the top.
The ginger syrup makes such a big difference. I had been making low-carb Moscow mules just using vodka, lime, mint and diet ginger ale, but your syrup makes them really taste like a true mule. Thanks so much! Made these last night for company and they were a big hit!
