Category: MainsCuisine: AmericanTotal Time: 30 mins1. Heat oil in a large skillet or pan over a medium heat. Add the diced onions and 1/4 teaspoon salt and sauté for 7-10 minutes until soft and translucent.
2. Add the ground beef and cook until almost completely browned, about 5 minutes. If the pan is looking dry feel free to add more oil as needed. Use a wooden spoon to break up the meat.
3. Turn the heat up high and add the beef stock, Worcester (or Henderson's) and mustard, soy sauce (or coconut aminos), sugar, garlic powder and black pepper. Cook until the liquids have evaporated and the beef looks like it's starting to caramelise and look slightly crispy around the edges. Turn off the heat and remove the pan from the burner. Set aside until you're ready to construct your burger bowls.
4. Add all of the special sauce ingredients to a small bowl and mix everything together until combined. Taste and season with more salt as needed.
